The Opera House is unquestionably one of the stars of the skyline here, truly deserving its iconic status.
However, it's harbourside compatriot, the Harbour Bridge, is in my mind the more impressive of the two. As noted a few months ago, the bridge pops into view at random times, making it blatantly obvious how enourmous it is.
The Opera House, by contrast, is quite a little thing. Of course, the two of them in view together, backed by the towers of the CBD, is one of the greatest cityscapes in the world. It makes me appreciate being here every time I see it.
If I had to choose just one, though, it would probably be the bridge. How about you?
