Does the introduction of real-time search results on Google (and now Yahoo!), mean the past is worth even less today (post-real-time) than it was yesterday (pre-real-time)?
Case in point: were you still thinking about Barrack Obama's Nobel Piece price at all before he was presented with it yesterday? I'd completely forgotten about the Award, announced eons ago back in.... October (the 9th, actually - my birthday).
For me this news was in the abyss, buried under exabytes of other information.Is 'the now' now all that matters?
