Following the Michael Sampson ILF session last Tuesday, I went along to the NSW KM Forum where Ross Dawson was speaking on "Implementing Enterprise 2.0 in the real world".
This was a warm up for Ross ahead of the Enterprise 2.0 Executive Forum on the 24th February and it gave him a chance to demonstrate some key elements of the new Implementing Enterprise 2.0 report that's due to be officially unveiled at the Forum.
For me, the key slides of the session were the "Enterprise 2.0 Implementation Framework" and a checklist of "Barriers to implementation", which are well thought out and will generate plenty of discussion in the coming weeks.
Ross has posted the full slide deck from the presentation (also embedded below) and if this is of interest I recommend registering for the Enterprise 2.0 Executive Forum on the 24th February. Both James and I are running mini workshops at the event, along with fellow consultants and experts in this field including Kate Carruthers, Matt Moore, Stephen Collins and James Dellow, and main presentations from JP Rangaswami (BT Group), Nathan Wallace (Janssen-Cilag) and David Backley (Westpac).
The NSW KM forum is also looking towards more great presentations in the coming months. On February 23 (the evening before the Enterprise 2.0 Forum), there's a session on "Online Communities - making it happen". For later sessions, Matt Moore has details on his site. I can see myself going to quite a few of these events in 2009.
